RGI, a leading European provider of core software solutions for the insurance sector, began at the end of last year the transition towards an evolved model centred on the valorisation of software as a service, adopting cloud infrastructure as the preferred deployment mode.
This move is part of the company’s strategic development path and aims to provide RGI’s customers with easy access to cutting-edge technology with a number of tangible advantages over traditional deployment, including automatic updates, increased scalability, along with an optimal user experience and greater operational efficiency.
This transition, now complete, saw emlex, with the senior partner Massimo Maggiore, assisted by managing associate Maria Giuliana Arcidiacono and associate Agnes Kwiatkowski, engaged in defining the complex contractual framework underpinning the new RGI model. This framework also included data protection and regulatory compliance aspects, in coordination with the RGI team.
‘On behalf of the entire RGI team, I would like to thank emlex for their invaluable support in furthering the transition to our new service model”, commented Sara Zavarise, Head of Presales at RGI, “The development of the new model allows us to continue to focus on our core business and the evolution of our platform, while at the same time leveraging the collaboration with our partners.”
